Richmond born woodwind doubler, Laura Parker has pursued a variety of different musical styles, including pop, jazz, classical music and show work whilst completing her academic degree in Musicology from King's College London. Alongside her degree Laura has studied clarinet with Ian Haystead, and Keith Puddy at the Royal Academy of Music. Her active schedule includes session work and performances throughout London and Surrey with ensembles such as wind quartets, function bands, orchestras, theatre work and big bands. As a soloist, Laura has premiered the Paul Mitchell Clarinet Concerto with Strings, performed the Artie Shaw Clarinet Concerto and the Finzi Clarinet Concerto, and her playing has allowed her to travel and perform on several tours to Europe. Laura is currently working towards her LRSM clarinet diploma and the completion of the final year of her BMus degree
