Paul Harvey

Paul Harvey was born in Sheffield in 1935. He studied clarinet and composition at the Royal College of Music in London. As a London freelance player, did much of the saxophone and extra clarinet work with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, including tours of the USA and Russia. His teaching career consisted mainly of 26 years as Professor of Clarinet and Saxophone at the Royal Military School of Music.

Since retiring from Kneller Hall, his main activities have been teaching, composition and arranging. Published works now number well over a hundred, from over twenty publishers.
